 The Dig Tolerance Tool helps crews avoid costly mistakes by giving them a fast, accurate way to measure tolerance distances on‑site. With a built‑in QR code that launches the reporting workflow, your team is always one scan away from proper documentation. 

 When an incident occurs, your crews use the Damage Kit to capture markings, measurements, tags, and photos. Every tool is designed to ensure consistent, defensible documentation — no matter who’s on the job. 

Scanning the QR code launches a guided reporting workflow that organizes every detail automatically. Photos, notes, GPS, and measurements are captured in sequence and compiled into a clean evidence package.

 When your documentation is ready, submit it through the Utilitel reporting portal for a Damage Assessment, where our team reviews your photos, measurements, and notes to confirm the incident is documented clearly and defensibly. We then compile your evidence into a structured investigation package you can use internally or for claims. Submissions collected outside the Utilitel workflow are accepted, but they’re often incomplete and may require additional information or an upgrade to an Advanced Investigation to ensure a thorough review. 

 Your completed investigation package gives you a clear, organized record of what happened, making it easier to communicate with utilities, insurers, or internal teams. With consistent documentation and a structured evidence file, you’re equipped to present your position confidently and support your claim with clarity.
